We have started this page to help a life long friend raise awareness and money to secure a happier life moving forward!! This is the story of our friend Hayleigh Greenwood….

Hayleigh is the mother of 2 incredible and football mad twin boys..Harry & Oscar, roughly 16 months ago Hayleigh noticed a small lump in her left breast.. being young Hayleigh didn’t think it could be the worst and unfortunately left it a little too late before getting checked out! She finally visited the breast clinic and under went numerous test which sadly confirmed that she had breast cancer and it was in both breast . Around this time Hayleigh experienced some pain in her groin and put it down to a pulled muscle, but after an MRI scan the doctors confirmed she had secondary bone cancer!! After IV chemo the breast cancer has gone!. Without the need of a mastectomy, which she was told was a possibility during treatment! Due to the chemo Hayleigh lost a lot of her hair, which is now growing back enough that she can wear hair extensions and feels a bit more human!! As the bone cancer is secondary, she will always have it…it is controlled by medication and regular injections, the treatment has left her bones weak and subsequently Hayleigh has had to undergo a hip replacement and really struggles with walking. The cancer is a hormone type which means Hayleigh is now being put through the early menopause…which is not the best!! All Hayleigh and us are asking is that if she can help just one person and raise awareness for breast cancer in younger people then it would make her so happy inside!!
