This is my 3 year old weenie dog, Tito. If you haven’t had the chance to meet him, he is full of love, energy, and an attitude much larger than his tiny body. For as long as I’ve had him, Tito has never let anyone walk into my home without a personal greeting at our front door. Until this weekend, when I got home and Tito was stuck in bed - paralyzed from the waist down.
Tito was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) last year with episodes of back pain, restricted mobility, shaking, and other common symptoms.
Tito was fortunate to receive treatments to manage his condition before ultimately losing function in both of his back legs unexpectedly.
Spinal surgery has been recommended to regain function in his back legs with reduced chances of reoccurrence. Tito is an active dog with 95% possibility of a strong recovery.
Asking for $ is never comfortable but as a full-time student, any contributions toward his procedure and recovery are appreciated.
