Tito's Recovery Road Home To His Family

Donation protected
Hi guys. It is Leanne, Tito's wife. Most of you all know who we are and know our story. I met Tito in August 2018, and since then we have been inseparable. Everyone who knows Tito knows that he is loving, hardworking, funny, and most of all LOYAL. He is the best dad ever and takes so much pride in that role of being daddy to Adrianna and Sofia.
On Wednesday, May 9, I called an ambulance because I was worried about my husband. He had a fever of 102, wasn't coherent when he spoke, and his chest was crackling. On top of that, we all tested positive for COVID 2 days before this. Luckily he went in the ambulance and was transported to Lahey in Burlington. Shortly after that, I received a phone call from the Dr's that he had been brought up to the ICU, had pneumonia and COVID, and his kidneys were failing. The feeling I felt in the pit of my stomach in that moment is indescribable, and I don't wish that feeling upon anyone.
I have been keeping everyone up to date, mainly on Facebook, and now I can put updates on here as well. We have hit a hurdle as of yesterday, and he is back on the ventialtor because he is breathing fast and heavy, and his body is beginning to work too hard. His team is concerned about his mental state and is running some tests and an MRI.

This is going to be a VERY long road for my husband. This is not a quick hospital stay and come home. I can't even think about him coming home at the moment because he still is sedated and has no idea what has been going on. We don't know the outcome, and we don't know what's causing this. In addition to all this, he STILL needs neck surgery that he was supposed to be getting this coming Friday.

I AM SCARED. I am scared for him, and I am scared for my girls. I have not been to work in the last couple of weeks because of COVID and because things have been so touch and go. I am scared I can't pay my rent, get my girls what they need, or make sure the lights are on or have gas in the car. My rent for the next 6 months would be the goal of this.

I am not one to ask for help. For anyone who knows me, I would much rather give than receive. I wouldn't be getting through ANY of this if it wasn't for YOU. The support and love that Tito and I always receive amazes me. We have so many people rooting for us, and I can't ever express how grateful I am for all of you. If you can donate something that's so wonderful, and if you can't, that's more than ok. I just ask that everyone PLEASE KEEP PRAYING to bring my husband home healthy. As long as he's breathing, I can handle whatever comes our way. I love you all so much. If anyone has any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.
