As a family and community, we are coming together to support Jackie as she bravely fights colon cancer. Since 1996, Jacquelin “Jackie” Medina has been a dedicated member of the Tulare Police Department family. Over the years, she has worn many hats, including administrative work, investigations, and community service, but she truly found her calling as a dispatcher. For so many officers, Jackie has been that steady, calm voice on the other end of the radio, making sure they had what they needed to stay safe and serve our community.
Outside of work, Jackie’s heart belongs to her family. She is a proud mom and grandma who loves her kids and grandkids dearly, and she is also an amazing Tía who is always willing to step in, help out, and love her nieces and nephews like her own. Family is everything to Jackie, and her kindness and generosity shine through in every role she holds.
Jackie is now facing her toughest battle yet with advanced colon cancer. As you can imagine, the treatments and challenges ahead bring heavy emotional and financial burdens. This fundraiser is a way for us, her coworkers, friends, and community, to give back to someone who has spent nearly 30 years giving to all of us.
Every donation, big or small, will help ease the load for Jackie and her family so they can focus on what matters most: her healing, her comfort, and the love that surrounds her. Please consider donating, sharing, and keeping Jackie and her family in your thoughts and prayers as she fights this battle with the strength and determination we all know her for.
