Cierra’s Road to Recovery after car accident

Hi everyone, my name is Cierra, and I’m sharing this from one of the most challenging places I’ve ever been in my life.

On April 25th, I was in a terrible car accident that completely changed everything for me. I was left with a broken left leg and a broken right ankle, and I’ve already had to undergo five surgeries to try to repair the damage. The doctors have told me that I won’t be able to walk for at least 6 to 12 months as I go through a long, difficult recovery.

I’ve always prided myself on being strong and independent, but right now, I need help. I can’t walk, I can’t work, and I can’t cover the mounting medical bills, physical therapy costs, equipment, or even my basic living expenses while I heal.

This experience has been not only physically painful but also emotionally overwhelming. It’s hard to fully describe what it feels like to have your whole life put on pause in an instant. I’m doing everything I can to stay positive and focused on getting better, but I simply can’t do this alone.
