I am raising funds for the Titanium Tigers Robotics Team of Chapel Hill High School, and every donation, large or small, helps create life-changing opportunities for students.

The Titanium Tigers are more than a robotics team. We are a community where students learn engineering, programming, business, leadership, teamwork, and problem solving skills that prepare them for successful futures in STEM and beyond. Through hands on experience designing, building, and competing with a 125 pound robot, students gain confidence, real-world experience, and lifelong friendships.

What makes our team special is our commitment to accessibility. No student is ever turned away because of financial hardship. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to participate, learn, and compete, regardless of their family’s financial situation.

Unlike many school activities, our program receives no direct funding from the school district or school. The costs of robot materials, tools, competition registration fees, transportation, lodging, and meals are covered entirely through donations, sponsorships, and community support.

This season, we are working toward a goal of $35,000 to fund:

• Robot parts, materials, and tools

• Competition registration fees

• Scholarships and support for students who otherwise could not participate

Your donation helps ensure that talented students can focus on learning, innovating, and competing, not on whether they can afford to be there.

Our team has a proven record of success. In 2022, the Titanium Tigers competed at the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas, and ranked 2nd in the State of North Carolina at the FIRST North Carolina District Championship. We are working hard to return to the World Championship and continue representing our school, community, and state at the highest level.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all donations are tax-deductible.
