Tippy Tri-Pawd's Tip Jar

From the moment I met Tippy 13 years ago, she's never stopped smiling and always hopped her own hop, regardless of the circumstances. Tippy wasn't given the best jump start in life, having a litter of puppies, being struck by a vehicle, having her front limb die and removing it herself, all within the first year of her life. Despite a missing leg and her heart beating on the wrong side of her body, she has never let anything stop her. She's always remained soft, surrendered to love and lived in the moment.

It's hard not living life to its fullest when you have such a resilient, loveable being by your side. She helped me through some of my most significant life transitions--always my constant, my little ride-or-die.

Sadly, Tippy was recently diagnosed with a tumor in her lungs. Right now, she's comfortable and has no idea she's sick. We don't know how fast it's growing or how much time we have left to spend together. My main focus is to keep her as comfortable as possible and, most importantly, have her remain smiling.

At this time, it's been difficult for me to meet the financial expenses to cover her medical needs. I'm setting up this page for others if they would like to contribute to helping with some of the current or future vet expenses associated with her diagnosis (blood work / x-rays / medications).

Here is a breakdown of the costs for Tippy's care:

Any funds not used for Tippy's care will be donated to Stumptown Strays--an organization that rescues shelter dogs with medical needs, providing lifesaving veterinary care and aiding them on their path to their forever homes. Tippy loves the crew at Stumptown Strays.
