Tiphinnie’s Story

Hello, my name is Ryan, and I am starting a GoFundMe for a deal friend, veteran, and someone I consider family!

Back in September (Sept. 21, 2022), Tiphinnie (age 43) started to have major digestion issues that were causing immense pain. The original diagnosis was ulcers in the stomach. This turned out to be a major disappointment in her medical diagnosis as the pain and issues did not subside. After numerous trips to many different medical facilities, the Augusta VA Hospital found a horrifying and unfathomable problem.

In October (Oct. 13, 2022), Tiphinnie was sadly diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer (peritoneal and peritoneum cancer). Over the course of 3 months, Tiphinnie has lost over 76lbs (as of writing this, she is now at 99lbs).

The Veterans Administration has pointed to burn pits in Iraq as the cause of these issues.

I am starting this GoFundMe to assist with travel, expenses, and significant construction that needs to be completed at their house so she can get around in a wheelchair independently.
