Tip-It-Forward to Stadium Vendors affected by CV

Stadium Vendors United is a Nationally United group of Stadium Vendors with the common goal of having our collective voice heard and being included in all conversations and plans during the Corona Virus disruption at the stadiums, arenas and all entertainment venues where we once worked before the shutdown.  10,000+ of us proudly walked the seats of all MLB, NASCAR, MLS, NCAA, NHL, NFL, NBA, Concerts, ETC serving you, the guest, a variety of products ranging from Cold Beer to Cotton Candy.  The Corona Virus and the stadium shutdowns has caused major issues in us being able to provide for our families and pay our bills.  As a group, we are having difficulty finding new employment as companies have stopped hiring as they are also dealing with the effects of the Corona Virus.  Stadium Vendors are often not direct employees of the stadiums so we are not included in many of the generous offers of assistance from athletes and owners.  Many of us are self-employed or work for a third party company which is not in a position to keep us on payroll.  The choice to close the stadiums will have a major impact on our life that we may not be able to recover from. We have created a Facebook group page called Stadium Vendors United and we ask that you donate as much as you can.  We know many of you have stocked up on food and toilet paper for this unknown amount of time and we ask that you please consider a donation.  In the spirit of the Stadium Beer man please donate a virtual beer amount to our cause and we promise that the money distributed to this team of hard working stadium vendors will be spent to feed our families and pay our bills until the stadiums re-open.  

Of the 243 nations largest stadiums in the total attendance is 11,406,215 with an average across those stadiums of 47,329 fans.  The Stadium Vendor staffing ratio is 500 fans to 1 vendor so this is effecting approx. 22,812 stadium vendors who mostly are not direct employees of the stadium or the team but are self-employed or work for a third party staffing company.
