To all my family and friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I must share with you that on January 27, 2021, the world and my family lost our beloved Francisco A. Garcia-Casado. He was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle and wonderful human being. He leaves behind his wife, Rosie, and three children, Vivian, Francisco, Jr. and Mariandre.
Anyone that knew him, would describe him as a loving, caring and self less man. But it was his family, and his endless love for them that always stood out. Always putting their well being and happiness first. Always there for his family when they needed him.
For the past 30 plus years, he dedicated his life to working as a agricultural engineer managing and caring for sugar cane crops in Santa Lucia, Guatemala. The morning of January 27, 2021, he was tragically taken from us. He was assassinated at work by a group of unknowns. He left this earth doing what he loved and dedicated his career doing.
Him and his family had so much to look forward to, such as seeing his son graduate from college and as a family beginning a new life in the U.S. They had received the wonderful news that after 10 plus years their U.S. residency application had been accepted.
He was the sole provider of his family and took pride in working hard so that his children could have every opportunity to succeed. His family meant the world to him and in honoring that, we have set up this gofundme page so that his family will be able to alleviate some financial stress. The funds collected over the coming weeks and months will be given to his wife, Rosie.
As a nephew, I loved him dearly, looked up to him and couldn't have asked for a better uncle. I feel so blessed to have had him in my life .The loving memories I have of him will be with me forever and helping care for his family will be one of the biggest honors of my life.
