hi all!

tinypistol has been invited to premiere a new work—"black calls to dark calls to deep underneath"—at the Kaufmann Concert Hall on March 9th, 2023, as part of 92NY's Harkness Mainstage Series! Super exciting & momentous, but we need a little help getting there (literally): airfare, hotel, per diem, etc.

My work focuses on black and brown people reclaiming their birthright to both wonderment and the quotidian, and this premiere is no exception. The stunning cast includes alexandra carrington, chelsea reichert, alexander diaz, tatiana barber, audrey johnson, & styles alexander. Plus original music by joel st. julien, and choreography by me, maurya kerr.

in tinypistol's ten+ year history, this is my first (and hopefully last!) crowdfunding campaign, & any help will be so appreciated by all of us.
