Hi all! We are two of Jaylen's aunties, Dana and Kirstin. We are asking for your help to raise money for this super-sweet little girl's upcoming surgery expenses.
As you may, or may not be aware, Jaylen was born with a special kind of skull. The bones in her skull fused prematurely. This will require continued monitoring and intervention to unfuse them throughout her growing years. Through the incredibly gifted hands of her doctor and the team at The Craniofacial Center , Dallas, TX, Jaylen has had three major surgeries in her life to give her brain room to grow. It has been five years since her last surgery, but the surgeon says it is time again. That is why we are asking for your help!
Jaylen's next surgery is scheduled for February 23, 2016. The Bellegarde family is preparing physically and emotionally for the upcoming trip. They are looking ahead at the travel expenses, unpaid time off work, and medical bills that will be coming their way. Let's show them some love and financial support, so they can focus on showering their Superstar Jaylen with all the love and extra cuddles she needs to get ready for her big day!
Known and estimated financial needs:
-- Surgery deposit ($5,000)
-- Air travel for the family between Dallas, TX and Myrtle Beach, SC ($2,000)
-- Hotel accomodations for +/- 7 days (~$1200)
-- Rental car and meal costs while in Dallas (~$1100)
-- Creative and fun activities for Jaylen before her big surgery and during her long recovery process (~$400)
-- Additional OOP medical expenses (???)
