Tiny Tony's Trache Journey

As most of you know already our son Anthony was born almost 4 months early. Although his twin brother Harley is home doing well Anthony continues to struggle. He has been diagnosed with BPD ( Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia) a type of Chronic Lung Disease that requires him to need oxygen support. He has had a breathing tube since birth and with the heavy decision made by us and a team of specialists it was decided Anthony(Tiny Tony) will be getting a Trachea tube to continue to help him heal while also allowing him to develop as normal as possible. As a result of getting the Trache tube he will need to get a feeding port put in and while they are operating they will be fixing his groinal hernia as well as his ambilical hernia. After having to make this difficult decision about our son's health and future I was separated from my job of 10yrs due to the chip shortages effect on the Auto Industry. Because of this I will be without Health insurance for Tiny Tony. The surgery requires us to be in Madison at the Children's Hospital for his healing and for our extensive training on how to care for him. Private insurance is not cheap as we all know and it is with a heavy heart that I even ask for help let alone accept it but.... Anthony's future and his health are far more important than my Stubborn Pride. So I am putting it aside and asking anyone that can please help us ensure he gets the best care and the best opportunity to have a future that doesn't look so bleek. Thank you all and God Bless!
