Tiny Tickers Heart Week

Heart Week is Tiny Ticker’s annual celebration of heart heroes everywhere. It’s a chance to come together to help babies born with serious heart conditions, their families and the health professionals that care for them.

We're raising money to benefit Tiny Tickers by giving away a £5,000 gift voucher to be used against a piece of freestanding furniture by Humphrey Munson. To enter the giveaway we are asking for a donation of £20 via this GoFundMePage. You can enter as many times as you like (each £20 donation will count as one entry) with every penny going direct to Tiny Tickers. Although it's a small charity, Tiny Tickers helps babies with congenital heart disease (CHD), their families and the health professionals who look after them. We got to know about the work by Tiny Tickers thanks to one of our Humphrey Munson designers, Emma Gentry, whose baby boy Barney was born with a Coarctation of the Aorta (repaired shortly after birth during life saving surgery), Ebstein Anomly and Subaortic Stenonsis which will mean Barney needs more open heart surgery in the future. A baby is born with a serious heart condition every 2 hrs in the UK and despite CHD being one of the biggest killers of infants in the UK, only around half of congenital heart defects are picked up during routine prenatal scanning.
