Help Remi Fight Cancer
Hi friends,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my sweet cat, Remi.
Remi has been diagnosed with a mammary mass, and based on my vet’s assessment, there’s a 90% chance that it’s malignant. This means she’s very likely facing a form of cancer that will continue to grow and spread without surgery — and fast.
This type of mass is unfortunately common in cats who are spayed later in life. I adopted Remi when she was 4 years old, and at the time, she hadn’t been spayed. Although I did have her spayed, by then, the risk was already higher.
Remi is my little shadow — a quiet, affectionate cat who’s never far from my side. She’s brought so much love into my life, and now I need to do everything I can to give her a fighting chance.
So far, I’ve already spent nearly $1,000 on vet visits, diagnostics, and testing. I just received a quote of $2,500 for the surgery, and that doesn’t include the aftercare or the likely chemotherapy treatment she’ll need afterward. The costs are adding up quickly, and I simply can’t do this alone.
If you're able to contribute — no matter the amount — you’ll be helping give Remi a shot at a longer, healthier life. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean the world, too.
Thank you for reading Remi’s story, and for supporting her during this tough time. She’s got so much more life to live, and with your help, we can get her the care she needs.
With love and gratitude,
Shelby
