Help Us Save Hattie & Johnny Knoxville—Two Foster Puppies Battling Parvo
Hi friends,
I’m reaching out for support to help save the lives of two incredible foster puppies: Hattie and Johnny Knoxville.
These two were rescued together from the Lancaster Shelter and came into foster care as a pair after we secured placement through Hand in Paw Rescue with a foster commitment.
Hattie, the black and tan girl, had been euthanasia-listed after being the last of her litter left behind. She had only received one Parvo vaccine at the shelter but had already been exposed to the virus.
Johnny Knoxville, the tan boy, was lucky by association, and pulled from the shelter since he was Hattie’s only kennel mate. His symptoms started soon after Hattie’s and his recovery has been promising.
Shortly after arriving in foster care, both Hattie and Johnny Knoxville tested positive for Parvo, a dangerous and potentially fatal virus that spreads quickly among unvaccinated puppies.
They have been receiving emergency veterinary treatment, and while there’s hope and their spirits are strong, the road to recovery is long and veterinary bills are piling up fast.
($4000+ as of the last invoices received)
We’re raising funds to cover their hospital care, medications, and supportive treatment. Every donation helps, and even sharing their story goes a long way.
Thank you for helping us give Hattie and Johnny Knoxville the second chance they deserve.
