Cancer has no boundaries, no mercy, and no grace for the littles. It has reached our family again. This time, my granddaughter, our sweet Delilah June, who is only 15 months old. Delilah is a beautiful baby girl who does not deserve this awful disease; nobody does. She is currently at UCSF Children’s Hospital with her mama and daddy awaiting a treatment plan for a large mass found in her abdomen. Doctors say she will be inpatient for weeks, if not months.
- This is going to create an extreme financial hardship on Shelby and Brian. The drive itself is over 100 miles from our home, a five-hour round trip. They will be driving to ensure Delilah gets the best care possible. Any donations will be used for travel, lodging, medical expenses, and any other medical costs that we haven’t even uncovered yet. Please keep our baby girl and her parents in your prayers! We need it! #TEAMDELILAH #DASILVASTRONG
9/24/2025 UPDATE Delilah’s tumor biopsy has confirmed High Risk Neuroblastoma cancer. The tumor grew to 11cm mass in her tiny abdomen pressing against her organs and wrapped around her liver and stomach. The treatment for high risk neuroblastoma is aggressive and long. Chemo, stem cell, surgery. Chemo again, possible radiation, transplant, immunotherapy. She has also been enrolled into a clinical trial. Her treatment will be at UCSF and will extend over a year. Lots of inpatient hospital stays. We continue to pray for our baby girl. We cannot believe this is our reality, but accept the challenge to get Delilah back home, healthy and playing with her twin sister Danika and cousin Kristopher. Please continue to pray for our little Delilah, her mommy Shelby, Daddy Brian and little sister by 1 minute Danika. Thank you to every single donation, call, text, FB message, cards and letters. We feel the love and prayers!!! ❤️
