Hi, my name is Jharla and I’ve created this GoFundMe to support my sister Jerica and her husband Samson during an incredibly difficult time.

I still can’t believe I’m writing this…

In March, Jerica and Samson were given the devastating news that their baby boy, Koa, has a rare form of cancer. He is only 14 months old. As you can imagine, this has completely turned their world upside down and shaken our whole family. It still doesn’t feel real.

Jerica, Samson and Koa are currently at Bristol Children’s Hospital while Koa begins treatment, and they may be there for the next 12–18 months.

Any donation, no matter how small, will help towards travel, food (as parents aren’t provided meals), bills, loss of earnings and household support, and the day-to-day costs that don’t stop during times like this; all whilst trying to maintain normality for his older sister Nella. Plus financial support for any extra potential treatments Koa may need. If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this would mean just as much.
