Tintle Ave House Fire
Donation protected
On February 11th, around 6 PM, 42 Tintle Ave went up in flames. Long time West Milford resident Lisa Szwed lived in the house with her husband, her daughter Jeni Mastrangelo, Jeni's boyfriend, and Jeni's four children. (one in high school, three in elementary school.) They all made it out of the house safely, along with their dog Riley. As a close friend of the family I am hoping to raise money to restore the personal belongings lost in the fire, and possibly raise funds that would go towards buying a new home. The house has burned beyond recovery and the family is devastated.
The Mastrangelos recently moved to West Milford a few months ago in hopes of new opportunity in our town after they left Paterson NJ. Jeni works for CUMAC in Paterson, a non profit organization that gives food and other necessities to those in need. Her boyfriend works at the Greenwood Lake Liquor store in our town, and her mother Lisa is a well known resident who raised her son, a graduate of WMHS, in our town.
Any small donation would mean the world to this West Milford family who is in need. Even if you can't donate, try to share it with others. Thank you.
