My name is Kaylee Rae Edmonds and I am raising money on behalf of Tino Chiac, a boy I met while on a mission trip to San Ignacio, Belize in the summer of 2016.
Tino is a 2 year old boy from Belize who was born with Microcephaly , Dandy-Walker Complex, and Hypoplasia of the Corpus Callosum. When Tino was just 22 months old in December of 2015, his mother became overwhelmed with providing and caring for him, so she sent him to foster care where he is now in the care of Margaret Mooney. This Christian lady followed her calling in July of 2004 by moving from Mexico to Belize to work in the Belizean foster care system.
Margaret's love for Tino is obvious and sincere as she is searching for ways to help Tino learn how to accomplish day-to-day tasks such as walking and talking, but this is going to require extensive physical therapy (where he will learn to walk and control his body) as well as speech therapy. The cost of Tino's physical therapy alone is $160 per month, $1,920 per year. My goal is to raise $2,500 to pay for a full year of Tino's physical therapy and part of his speech therapy.
I believe that with the help of all of my friends and family, we will be able to accomplish this goal and change Tino's life. Tino has so much potential to conquer his medical challenges and benefit from this therapy, but he needs your help through prayer and finances.
