Hello hello all, my name is Maki and I am trying to fund money for a much needed medical procedure for this cute little grandma here:

All these funds will go to a dental procedure for Tinker. (I will also do voice over requests with your donation, more info at the bottom!)

She just turned 15 years old this year and is in very good health, still very energetic and excited, I even get tired before she does when we go on walks!

We got Tinker in 2006, she's been my dog since I was nine years old. I unfortunately had to leave her behind when I moved out for university in 2018 and her health worsened while I was gone. Having her again has made me so happy, her mood and energy has improved ever since she got here. During her last checkup earlier this year there were no other problems besides her teeth. She's lost most of them and what's left is rotting. The recommended procedure was to extract the rotting teeth so it doesn't move down further and cause her jaws to start rotting as well.

Her first checkup in over 4 years she needed a lot of vaccines and shots to catch up on and many examinations to make sure there were no other issues. She was also prescribed several medications to treat her digestive issues, separation anxiety, and the pain caused by her teeth.

 

I'm currently enrolled at UCI, and between being an engineering major, working an internship and a food delivery job, I make just just enough to cover my own and Tinker's living expenses. This summer though I am unable to work at my internship and no longer have any federal loans. Working full time at my other job I will make just enough money to cover my own expenses.

 

Having to put off this procedure leaves Tinker in chronic pain, eating is significantly difficult and painful for her and water spills out of her mouth whenever she drinks. Having to work more this summer means I have to leave her at home which induces even more stress and anxiety for her. I want to make the last few years of her life as comfortable as I can, it means so much to me and her.
