The Mutt Dog is an apparel brand created for dog lovers, by dog lovers, with a mission to help get more dogs rescued & provide support to shelters, rescue organizations, and other essential non-profits serving dogs.

Sometimes dogs who need support find us- in these emergencies, we offer direct payment to veterinary hospitals providing the care that gives dogs the best chance for a healthy life and adoption into their forever home. We are partnering with our friends at Knick Knack Pittie Pack in Pennsylvania to support their rescue dog, Tinkerbelle, but we need your help. Continue reading to learn more about Tink's story :

Tinkerbelle was taken in by Knick Knack Pittie Pack in May of 2021. Her name was Teenie, and her young owner had brought her back to PA with him from OH, where he rescued her from a dire situation at a puppy mill. He took her to his vet for treatment of a UTI but later learned that she had an ectopic uterus. They quickly realized they couldn't afford her care and, to give her the best shot at happiness, surrendered her to Knick Knack.

Over the last 21 months of her young life, Tink has wracked up a long list of medical issues and continues to have surgery after surgery. Knick Knack is determined to do everything they can to get her all fixed up so that she can lead a normal life and enjoy every day. They hope that someday soon, she will find her forever family! Despite all that she has been through, she is always smiling and her tail never stops wagging. This is the only life she has ever known, but we can’t wait to see how much more she blossoms when all of her surgeries are complete!
