It all started in December 2016, a diagnosis that shattered our hearts in disbelief. My wife, Tineka, was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (breast cancer). At that time she was breastfeeding our near one year old daughter and a lump was discovered. She immediately went to the doctor and after 3 weeks of different doctor visits , the most dreaded news was given to us.
We are a blended family of 7 that includes 4 girls and 1 boy, aged from 1-17 years old. We are reaching out to friends, family members, and the community for help with her treatment/food and fight against cancer. After much research about cancer and the body, we chose natural cancer fighting therapies, along with continuous lifestyle/diet changes as the best route to beat cancer.
Conventional cancer treatment (surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy), causes damage to good and bad cells without a guarantee of survival. We were lead, through prayer, to take this route to heal her body. God has placed people in our lives that have coached her and led her to all of these therapies, so we are very thankful to God for leading us during this time. God is good!
UPDATE: The treatment Tineka is currently doing consists of natural herbs, vitamins & minerals, herbal teas and a 99% organic plant based diet. Her medical treatments and doctor visits are not covered by insurance.
