Tina's Wish for Strudel's Peaceful Transition

My name is Tina Schofield, and I have the most amazing, tough, sassy, sweet little girl named Strudel. She's 2lb and 15 years old with kidney disease that is progressing at a quick rate, and I want to make preparations for her to cross rainbow bridge at home so she's the most comfortable she can be. Both her rescued brother and sister passed away from heart failure and cancer at home, and I want the same comfort and safe space for my little but mighty heart bun, who has been my shadow for longer than human friends have been in my life. She's my best friend and my little soulmate, and she and I and her very much bonded Buddy are beside ourselves with the thought of her having to be more stressed than she has to be and away from the place she always knew and felt safe during this transition into her new form. She is my best friend, my coworker, my rock, my shoulder to cry on for so so many years, Buddy's mother figure, the brightest sunshine in my life, the inspiration for so much of my artwork and my life, who has changed so much, got me into rescue, was the inspiration for my bunny shop and me going vegan, all because of her. She truly means everything to me, and I just want the best possible "see you later" as I know we'll find each other again in another life.

These funds will allow Lap of Love to come out to do a gentile euthanasia where she gets put under first, so things will be more peaceful on her little body when she crosses the rainbow ($605). It will also help pay for an urn and private cremation ($380), so I can take her with me and give her an at-home burial once I get my own place. I plan to have her become a tree, so she can still be around and give a shadow as big as her heart really is, that she has carried for me, her sister Poptart, and her adoptive brother Buddy, who loves her so much for these beautiful long years we were all so blessed to share with her. Even so..I'll never be ready, even when I know she is.
