Tina’s open heart surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Christina Clarke, my husband Darren and I are fundraising for our daughter Tina Clarke Kildow’s open heart surgery. She needs a surgery known as the Ross procedure. Our daughter was born with bicuspid aortic valve stenosis. For those that don’t know what it is, her aortic valve only has 2 leaflets in her valve, when most have 3. Her heart has been working harder than others for the past 26 years. Within the last 2 years, her valve has became extremely calcified. A calcified heart valve is caused by inflammation and reduced blood flow of the aortic valve. Without this surgery, her life is at extremely high risk. Unfortunately, the procedure is out of our cost budget, but in order for our daughter to live a healthy life, she needs it done. We found one of the best doctors in the country who specializes in the aortic valve and in the Ross procedure. We are kindly asking for help from family, friends, and friends of our friends and family to please help us get our daughter back to a healthy life so she can enjoy a long, happy life. She recently has gotten married, and hopes to start a family one day soon. That is not possible without this procedure. With this procedure, she will be guaranteed 25-30 years living a normal life, without any restrictions or problems.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give us for our daughter!
