We were debating on making one of these, but figure that it is worth the try. Anyone that knows my mom Tina Higashi knows that she is a giver and a sacrificer. She’s always thinking of and finding ways to help and bless others. My mom would probably never create a fundraiser like this for herself because she knows that everyone struggles... We, her children, are creating this gofundme for her.

On June 16, my mom was in an accident and broke 9 of her ribs and damaged her right lung. Doctors say that it’s a miracle she is still alive. Our mom still smiles despite all the pain that she’s going through. She’s SO strong. She will have to do surgery to fix her ribs. After her surgery she will be at the hospital for a while but when she is released the doctor said that she can  not fly on a plane for at least 2 weeks. This makes it extremely difficult because our family is back home on Kaua’i. 

ALL of the money raised will go straight to my mom to help her with a place to stay, food, and anything else she may need. I will be with her the whole time on Oahu and and my big brother and sister will stay for as long as they can.
