Tina Lafontaine, mother of 4 (11, 9, 4 and 20 month old), is currently in a medically induced coma due to complications during surgery for a Cerebral arteriovenous malformation (avm). The operation, which lasted 18 hours, has caused her bleeding to the brain. The doctors therefore put her in a medically induced coma. After 3 days of this induced coma, the doctors woke her up; she could move all her limbs. Two days later she talked a bit and was starting to get better.

Unfortunately, an emergency operation had to be performed during the night, due to a cerebral hemorrhage in the area where she was previously been operated on. She was plunged back into a medically induced coma.

She has now been in this medically induced coma for almost a week, some days she responds and other days she does not. Chances of residual effects are likely.

She is hospitalized in Montreal while the father has to stay in Gatineau with the children. He had to stop work, because of severe anxiety and lack of sleep, in order to fully focus on the children.

Tina est une maman de 4 enfants (11-9-4-20 mois), est présentement dans un coma dit provoqué par les médecins suite à des complications lors d'une opération pour une M.V.A. (Malformation artério-veineuse cérébrale). L'opération, qui a durée 18 heures, lui a causée des saignements au cerveau. Les médecins l'ont donc induit dans un coma médical. Après 3 jours de ce coma provoqué, les médecins l'ont réveillé, elle bougeait tous ses membre ,2 jours ensuite elle parlait un peu et commençait a aller mieux.

Malheureusement, dans la nuit, dû à une hémorragie cérébrale à l'endroit où elle a été opérée, elle a du retourner d'urgence en opération et fut replongée dans un coma médical.

Maintenant, cela fait presque 1 semaine qu'elle est dans ce coma provoqué, des journées elle répond d'autre non et les chances de séquelles sont envisageables.

Elle est hospitalisée à Montréal et papa doit rester à Gatineau avec les enfants..il a dû arrêter le travail pour cause d'une très grande anxiété et manque de sommeil afin de pouvoir bien se concentrer sur les enfants.

Ce fond gofundsme a été créé afin d'aider le papa a subvenir aux besoins de sa famille durant l'hospitalisation et la convalescence de Tina.
