It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Tina Johns. Aunty Tina, as she was affectionately known, was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and peacefully passed away on the 16th of September, 2025, surrounded by her loving children.
Tina was a pillar of strength and compassion. A devoted mother to five children, she worked tirelessly to provide for her family and uplift her community. No matter where she lived, she became known simply as “Aunty Tina” — a title she wore with pride and love. She was always the first to offer a helping hand: feeding the hungry, supporting people with disabilities, caring for children, and opening her home to anyone in need of a bed or a warm meal.
Her generosity touched countless lives, and now, in the wake of her sudden passing, her children are facing the difficult reality of planning her burial without the financial resources to do so.
In honour of the life Tina lived, one defined by selflessness and service, we are reaching out to the very community she so deeply loved and supported. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly towards giving her the farewell she deserves.
Thank you for your support during this time.
