Tina Marie Paddy (Martinez) 6/10/1956-1/24/-2021
Many have asked how they can help us during this time and we're very thankful for all the outpouring of love and support. We know mom meant a lot to everyone and touched a lot of lives. We started this Gofundme to help with her funeral services. Mom is going to be cremated and put right next to our Nana (Her Mom) just like she would have wanted. Every little bit helps. We plan to cover the cost of the funeral with the help of your donation's and the remaining balance will be used to help her partner Randy, who is also recovering from Covid, with his medical bills. Below you can read my Moms story and understand how much of a beautiful and loving person she truly was.
At 9:30pm on Sunday, January 24th this beautiful lady I had the privilege to call my mama lost her battle with covid. Tina Marie Paddy put up one hell of a fight. She passed away on day 30 of hospitalization, 37 since onset of covid symptoms and after 15 days on the ventilator. She was the glue to our family. Left to cherish her memory are her loving boyfriend and partner of 9 1/2 years, Randall Fortner, beloved brother, Buddy Paddy, daughter Barbara Jenkins (Eric), son Jamie Martinez ("bonus daughter" Andrea), daughter Danielle Swigert (Tim), and son Dusty Martinez. She was the proudest mom-mom to 8 grandchildren and she was so happy to sit and tell you stories about each and every one.
She was full of energy and positivity. She spent way more time caring and worrying about others, than she did herself. She devoted herself to making others happy and helping anyone and everyone in any way that she could. She made the most of her time here by almost never saying "no" to any invite that came her way. Her and the love of her life, Randy, spent countless hours on the weekends enjoying live music, dancing and family and friends. Family meant everything to her. As the family Matriarch, she made sure to play a huge role in every holiday, birthday, anniversary and accomplishment that her family had. She definitely enjoyed life to the fullest and lived for every moment that she could.
A private burial will be held at Lakemont Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest with her parents. Due to covid, a gathering will not be held at this time but we intend on having a "Celebration of Life" for mom in the future when it can be done outdoors.
