On Friday night, our world changed in an instant.

Our sweet Tina was the victim of a devastating hit-and-run. A driver struck her with such force that she was thrown onto the sidewalk and then drove away without any remorse to even stop and check on her. In a matter of seconds, a normal evening turned into a fight for her life.

She is now in critical condition. She has air leaking from her lungs, a fractured skull, and severe damage to her spine. As I write this, she is undergoing emergency surgery to repair a fractured disc in hopes that she may be able to walk again. We don’t yet know what her future will look like but we do know that she is fighting with everything she has!!

Anyone who has met Tina knows she is more than just a dog, she is family. She is pure love, joy, and loyalty. The kind of soul who greets you with endless excitement, comforts you on your hardest days, and brings light into every room she enters. Seeing her in this condition is heartbreaking beyond words.

The cost of saving her life has already exceeded $25,000, and we are only at the beginning of what will be a long and uncertain road to recovery. Between emergency care, surgery, hospitalization, and the extensive rehabilitation she will need, the financial burden is overwhelming, but giving up on her is not an option.
