Tina Hams fight against pancreatic cancer

On Friday, March 22, Tina went to the ER for severe abdominal pain.  Unfortunately, she’s been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.  On wed, when they went to surgically remove part of the pancreas and spleen, the cancer was also found in the liver.  Miraculously enough, there isn’t any cancer in the lymph nodes ( which has the dr.’s amazed ).  Since it has metastasized into the liver it’s considered Stage 4, but since it’s not in the lymph nodes, they will treat it as a Stage 3.  She will start chemo therapy for atleast 6 months, after her 4 week follow up appt.  

We are asking for prayers more than anything, and that God continues to amaze the doctors.  And if anyone would like to donate financially it would be greatly appreciated as well.  Tina will need to stop working while she goes through the chemo but if God’s will, she will return shortly after.  But as anyone who’s been affected by cancer knows, the financial burdens and stress can take a toll, and we need Tina to focus on healing and her health.
