My name is Michael McGinnis, and I'm requesting assistance in paying for my mother's cremation, and help paying her house bills while we figure out what to do with everything she left behind.

On Wednesday, in the early hours of September 3rd, my sister found her passed away in her bed, unexpectedly. We had no warning, and her passing was very sudden and has been devastating for all of us. She was an amazing woman who took care of everyone around her and the loss of her is substantial and heartbreaking. Thursday we met with the funeral home to discuss her cremation, something she'd asked us for in the event of her loss, and found it to be more than expected, with no payment plan option. On top of this, she has bills coming up that we are struggling to meet, and we cannot let them go as we go through her things and try to piece ourselves back together. We're hoping that the community will help by giving us some time to review everything and do things the way she would have wanted.

Thank you to everyone who wants to help us, even if its just sharing our story. She meant a lot to a lot of people, and we are trying to find peace among the shock and sadness of her passing. We are devastated, heartbroken, and trying to make sense of things, and every little bit will go back into the memory of her.
