This past 3 weeks, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. My mother-in-law tragically lost her life to alcoholism — a battle she fought for years. She leaves behind 2 children and 4 beautiful grandchildren who adored her more than words can say.

As we approach Christmas, a time when family matters most, we’re facing a heartbreaking reality: we cannot afford to give her the funeral and farewell she deserves. We’re struggling just to keep up with everyday living costs, and the weight of funeral expenses is something we simply cannot carry alone.

Despite her struggles, she was a proud nanny, and someone whose life mattered deeply. Her grandchildren deserve the chance to say goodbye properly. Her children deserve closure. And she deserves dignity and love in her final rest.
