Tim Tielke was diagnosed with COVID pneumonia on October 27, 2020. His symptoms and condition quickly deteriorated necessitating hospitalization. On November 6, the decision was made to put him on a ventilator by Tim, his medical staff and his family. As of 11/14, he is still on the ventilator, but his prognosis is not positive. Missy Tielke, his wife of 39 years, is under an unbelievable amount of pressure to make the right medical decisions for Tim and at the same time maintain their household and pay all of the bills. As you can imagine, the medical bills are becoming immense, even with the help of insurance. If Tim survives, he will likely need life-long care in a facility.
