I have started this go fund me to help my sister, Tonia and brother in law, Gene. My nephew Tim is 19 and a Marine. He was admitted to the hospital on Sunday, October 9th with pneumonia. They determined that there was more going on, but unable to diagnose immediately. He was in severe respiratory failure and listed in critical condition. He was intibated and sedated on Tuesday. They determined it was bacterial pneumonia caused by 2 different types of bacteria. He had a bronchoscopy done and what seems like a million and one other tests. They placed an oral gastric tube down his throat for medications and nutrition. On Wednesday the added an ECMO machine which takes the blood out of the body, oxygenates it and returns it to the body. After that was done he was transferred to a third hospital. They are still waiting on test results, cultures, growths and such. While waiting they are treating him with copious amounts of antibiotics. He is still in critical conditions as of Friday. His parents are unable to work while they are by Tim's side out of state. They are still incurring bills at home while they are away and have living expenses and needs while they are away. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
