Help Support Tim’s Stage 4 Cancer Journey

Hello. I’m Tim, and I have stage 4 Follicular Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Out of nowhere, I had major trouble walking, as well as a pins and needles sensation from my torso down to my toes. After an MRI, we discovered I had a tumor on my spine and lymphoma in a few of my lymph nodes.

I received an emergency surgery to remove the tumor all along the thoracic portion of my spine—a flurry of activity.

Next came physical rehabilitation to learn how to walk again: a slow and arduous, painful process. After being in the rehab center, I started physical therapy as an outpatient twice a week. My ability to walk is much better, but still a work in progress.

After my incision healed: chemotherapy, and it was a rough one. They decided to Molly wallop my cancer with a pretty strong treatment, called R-CHOP. That took a lot out of me, and I still feel like my energy levels and brain fog have not righted themselves yet.

The hard part of my journey may be over, but I'm still attempting to get caught up with bills—medical and general, get my home office set up so I can work, and general life expenses. I have insurance, but it doesn’t pay for everything. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

Oh, I’m also writing a book about my experience as well. It would be great to have time to do that without some of the added stressors bogging me down.

The economy is pretty rough out there, as is the job market. My energy levels and difficulty walking and carrying things doesn’t make it any easier.

I delayed making this as long as I could, but have come to the realization I could use some help. And some of you would rather not buy things off the Amazon Wish list, which I understand.

Thank you for considering. Please only donate if it is painless to you.

Also please share, whether you can donate or not!

Again, thanks.

When you donate, I will write you a haiku with your choice of topic.
