Tim's Road to Recovery: Your Help Needed

Donation protected
Over a year ago, Tim stepped on a rusty nail, resulting in a major infection that he fought for over a year. This led to two toes being amputated and then eventually having his leg amputated below the knee. After recovering from that, Tim went into the hospital in June this year with severe back pain. At that time, they discovered he had an old break in his back (T-11). After three weeks at St. Vincent's, Tim went to a rehab facility in Oneonta. After three weeks there, they discovered a growth in his left side that sent him to the ER. During this trip, they found his back to be infected and he had a growth on his aorta. Tim spent four more weeks in the hospital and was sent home with a PICC line of antibiotics for six weeks. During all the hospital stays, he was required to lay flat on his back, losing all muscle strength. He's now at home with home health and home therapy coming weekly. Tim hopes to be walking again with a walker in a couple of weeks. When he recovers from this procedure, he will need to have a knee replacement on his left knee. Needless to say, medical bills are overwhelming and help is appreciated. Having been a skilled carpenter for over 40+ years, he is no longer able to work and make an income. God bless you for your help!
