Tim’s Legacy

My name is Susie. Many of you know me as Tim’s ex-wife and the mother of Torryn and Maxx, but what most people don’t know is that Tim and I remained very close. As his health declined significantly over the past several years, we would talk for hours about his hopes that he would be here long enough for his fortunes to change in a way that would ensure his legacy could continue through his three children and two grandchildren. Friends and family closest to Tim knew that his love was fierce, protective, and deeply felt. And they knew how much he was fighting to obtain a legal settlement that would ensure his kids would be taken care of if he passed. We recently learned that there is a very low likelihood that any type of settlement will be offered. My hope in setting up this GoFundMe account is that Tim’s three children will be able to focus solely on healing from the loss of their dad and not have to return to work before they are emotionally ready to do so.

 

Tim was so young! He never should have been taken from us this soon. He had so, so, so much left to contribute to this world. As we’ve begun to look through all of the art, music, writing, cartoons, and snippets of his many passions, we have decided to celebrate his life and legacy with everyone whose life he touched and hopefully with thousands more who never met him. We will talk about him, tell stories, sing his songs in the wrong tune, and keep him present in our lives always. Once we figure out the best format to share his art with the world, we will share it here and on his facebook page.
