Tim's Fire Recovery: Urgent Help Needed

Hello, this emergency fundraiser is for Timothy Davis Jr., who has suffered the devastating loss of his Altadena, CA home and vehicles this week in the awful fires we have in Southern California. Tim (as most of us know him) escaped this tragic situation by evacuating with only the clothes he was wearing and a few important papers. Can you imagine the trauma of losing everything you own at once? Neither can I. Timothy Davis Jr. is a Doctoral candidate at Claremont College. He has faithfully served the greater Los Angeles community as a professional musician, head music director of the AME Church, singer, music educator at Compton College, and in leadership of the National Association of Negro Musicians for many years. I study vocal performance and piano in his studio. He is also a former colleague and fellow president of NANM. I am Ashay Mathieu, president of one of our local branches of NANM, graduate student @ CSUN, retired nurse, and US Navy veteran. Therefore, I am trained to help victims and humanity in crisis. I am asking for your help as well.

Funds raised will go towards his most immediate needs: food, clothing, transportation, and shelter. Let’s lift our Brother up in a real tangible way.
