My husband Timothy was diagnosed with an aggressive kidney disease at the beginning of 2020, but good news - we have a living kidney donor! Unfortunately, with the transplant date fast approaching in May, we now face the new challenge of being able to pay our bills while on leave for his recovery, and we're having to suck up our pride and reach out for help.
