Hello, my name is Timothy and I am trying to raise money for classes and certifications while recovering from shoulder surgery to better my chances and opportunities for success once I am cleared to work again (pain-free, I am hoping). I am in the process of receiving back injections for a few herniated disks at the moment. Then I will be having surgery on my right shoulder to repair some torn tendons, bone spur removal, and a SLAP tear.

I am a husband and father to 3 beautiful, smart children. One just started college and the other 2 are receiving excellent grades and on their way to an awesome life in front of them. Fortunately, we are blessed to have a loving, caring, and supportive wife and mother who has carried us through and is very supportive of me getting my health back on track. I would like to take the initiative to try and receive some credentials and certifications that would allow for a better future for all of us after these procedures are completed. From what I am told, the recovery time will be a few months and during that time with idle hands, I would like to continue learning some skills that I love to do. Any and all help would be very much appreciated and would never be forgotten.

Some of you may know me and know that I try and try before defeat, sometimes until on the verge some would say insanity. See, my passion is repairing defective and broken small engine equipment, ATV's, lawnmowers, chainsaws, weed eaters, etc., 2 and 4 stroke repairs and maintenance. If I find a mystery while on a machine, I research and try again. Sometimes I come across a better way that I couldn’t find any information on. To me that is the most fulfilling feeling ever, satisfaction and making the customer satisfied and amazed that it COULD actually be brought back to life, I like to think that everything can be fixed and it doesn’t have to be a throw away society. I also try to instill these values in my children as it was passed on to me through my grandfather.

I believe that acquiring the EETC certifications will allow me a better understanding of some of the principals but along with that will make it easier to acquire employment with a ultimate goal of one day running my own business and show my children that people can overcome obstacles and become something great and a service to their community.

I find it hard to ask others for anything, often believing I am a burden when doing so, I had an awesome job repairing floor cleaning equipment but due to my other shoulder tendon tearing and resulting in 3 surgeries to repair that I am no longer employed with them so I am seeking other options.

I also want to acquire a forklift license and possibly ASE certifications for automotive brake repair and replacement. I believe this can all be done during my recovery process as I do not play video games as an adult but find it very hard to do nothing. So, recovery time can be productive for me and benefit not only me but my family in the long run.

Thank you for your time and I wish everyone well and hope you all have an awesome day, I will post updates to keep everyone in the loop
