"From Journey to the Roof to Journey to Recovery"
On the 28th January 2017, Timothy Hay was in a life threatening accident whilst filming. He was pinned under a vehicle. Thanks to the people with him he was stabalised and later taken to Clan William Hospital. He was later transported to Durbanville Mediclinic where he underwent an emergency 3 and half hour operation to repair a ruptured bowel and severed colon.
X-rays further revealed a fractured hip that was repaired with a pin in the back and plate in the front.
Due to the extent of his injuries Timothy is going to need ongoing re-habilitation and will be unable to work for the next 6 - 12 months.

Tim is strong, loving, positive, caring and a best friend to many!! He likes to make people laugh and he inspires everyone to do what they love.
His life and his passion is being adventurous and being out doors doing what he loves and does best - surfing, enduro riding, intense fitness training and filming.
Another passion of Tim's is his "Journey to the Roof" show, in which he films, rides, edits the show and broadcasts this once a month on SuperSport. He has an enormous following and is an inspiration to everyone, especially his family.
One of Tim's greatest achievements is doing The Roof of Africa, getting Bronze and then Silver.
We now need to help Timothy achieve Gold in his "Journey to Recovery" by raising funds to help support him.

We have created this GoFundMe account and page for Timothy Hay, to help with his finances and all his rehabilitation costs. As he is self employed and will be unable to provide for himself for the next 6-12 months. Any help (no matter how small) will be greatly appreciated and will take a lot of pressure off of Tim.
Please help Timothy by Donating!
Thank you all for your Love, Prayers and Support!! You're all helping and giving Tim the utmost strength and love to fight!
