We would like you to meet Timothy Easley. Timothy is 56 and lives in Mobile, Alabama. He is a loving son, a brother, an uncle, and a dear friend to many of us!
Early, this past Sunday morning, April 26th, Timothy suffered a severe heart attack and underwent emergency open heart surgery. He received a bypass and a repair to a large hole in his heart that the doctors did not know was there. The doctors wanted to repair 5 arteries but the arteries were so small and so damaged, they could only repair 3 of them. As of now, he is on a LVAD, left ventricular assistive device, to help his heart recover from the extensive surgery. He is in recovery and heavily sedated for the next 24 hours to allow him to rest.
Timothy is our rock. He is our sweetest friend and most loving brother. He works hard to supports himself and, like most people, Timothy suffered a considerable financial loss due to the Coronavirus outbreak. He has not been able to work and is now facing a long recovery from this surgery.
Many people have reached out with offers to help Timothy during his difficult time. We know Timothy and we know that Timothy, himself, will not ask anyone for help. With that, we have taken this on ourselves to help someone that is always there for anyone he knows and always goes out of his way to help. And because of this and these offers of help, we have created this Go-Fund-Me, so people can show Timothy, and his family, how much he is truly loved.
As you can imagine, Timothy is facing a mountain of medical bills and possible future surgeries. Without being able to work, or have health insurance, these next several months (and then some) are going to be especially difficult for he and his family. If you feel lead to help Timothy please consider donating... any and every bit helps!
We'll keep you posted on his recovery along the way !
Thank you!
For transparency, GoFundMe requires that I update you on the status of where these funds will be going. We have set up Timothy's mother, Betty Easley, as a beneficiary. She will be making sure that he is being cared for and that the funds are used to aid in his recovery and well being. Thank you again for your love and support!
