Timothy Thompson Memorial Fund 
 
 
By now, many of you might have heard of the untimely passing of Tim Thompson. 
 
Tim was a great loving husband, father, and grandfather. Tim was beloved by everyone he came across. Tim was known for being a family man, with 2 daughters, 1 son, and 1 granddaughter. He did everything for his family and always put his family first before himself. Tim had a great sense of humor. Wherever Tim was, you could hear laughter and happiness. He cherished his family and granddaughter dearly. Unfortunately, Timothy was taken from his family early when he needed to undergo surgery and was injured during the surgery. This caused Tim to bleed from the injury he sustained during the surgery. Doctors were unable to stop the bleed and Tim was on life support.  
 
Timothy worked for Chartwells at Bard College. He worked for Chartwells for 25+ years, and was in a union. The college changed companies, and after the college switched to the new company, Tim lost all of his benefits, Life insurance, etc.  At this time, we are trying to raise as much money as possible to help cover the cost of the funeral and medical expenses, to help his family in this difficult time. Tim was the sole provider for his family. We don’t have the funds available to cover the whole funeral cost and medical expenses so we are asking for help, and any donations would be greatly appreciated.
