Obituary for Timothy J. Mitchell

Timothy J. Mitchell, age 36 of Brockway Twp., passed away on February 2, 2026. He was born on March 20, 1989 in East China Twp. to the late Michael and Patricia Mitchell.

Tim was a cherished father, brother, and friend. His presence made the world a brighter place. Tim will be remembered for his kindness, steadfast loyalty, and unwavering faith in God. He was the kind of person who would go out of his way to help anyone. He was always just a phone call away. Tim chose compassion over judgment. He never criticized how others lived; instead, he offered himself as a source of empathy for his community. He was always there to listen to those with a burden to bear. Tim would give the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his wallet to help someone in need. His impact will not be forgotten by those who knew him.

Tim is survived by his daughters and their mothers; Isabella Mitchell and Madison and Ivy Mitchell and Rhiannon Mitchell, siblings; Michael (Kim) Mitchell, Brian (Melissa) Mitchell, Scott (Megan) Mitchell and Tiffany (Coty) Schultz, nieces and nephews; Tyler, Zach, Miriam, Kyra, Gavin, Wyatt, Gabe, Sawyer, Charlotte, Jayce and Levi, along with several aunts, uncles, cousin and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Felix Mitchell and Thelma and Leo Wagner.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday - February 15, 2026 in the Marysville Masonic Lodge - 1569 Michigan Ave., Marysville from 2:00pm until 6:00pm with a memorial service at 5:00pm. Minister Shaun Laurain will officiate.
