As some may know; some don’t, very abruptly yesterday (Monday Aug.14th) my brother/partner for the last almost 3 years/father-like figure / and one of the greatest guys I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with, Tim Fritz has passed away. Tim was not only an excellent mechanic, perfectionist, pipefitter, (husband/brother/uncle ect) but he was also a mentor. For the last few years, I have had the pleasure to work one on one with him for just about every day of those years. He filled my apprentice mind with an endless amount of knowledge, tips and tricks in order to be a successful pipefitter. This man became family and he was somebody that I looked up to, and actually made work not feel like work. Everybody that really knew Tim knows that he lit up every room he walked into and every job site he rolled up to. He was able to make a joke out of everything, his overall outlook was always positive, and he really knew how to keep the guys laughing. Everybody that was lucky enough to work with him knows what a great and dedicated guy he was to not only his craft but also to his family and Pipefitters Local 120, his extended family. He had just turned 45 years young.
I have made this account to help raise funds to help offset funeral arrangements and expenses for his loving wife, to help ease the pain even by a decimal. Please do not feel obligated to give, but if you are in a position to do so, I would really appreciate it and overall I know his wife and family would be eternally grateful.
This man was taken way too soon and now we are left with many fond memories. Thank you brothers and sisters for your consideration.
