Timoteo “Martin” Garcia Bazan is a beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, and great friend who tragically departed from us on October 16th, 2022. He leaves on this Earth his wife, Angela Diaz Gomez, his daughters Lauren and Melissa Garcia, sons Timoteo, Jorge and Angel Garcia and his grandchildren Lilliana, Sofia, Laylah, Angel, Lea, and Anna Garcia, and many other family and friends who love and care for him. He joins his brothers, Victorino and Salvador Garcia, and his father, Gilberto Garcia-Cruz, who recently passed on September 2nd, 2022. We are happy and comforted that they are all reunited again to enjoy the triumph of making it into paradise, the place of an afterlife where sadness, pain, and suffering no longer exist.

Martin was a hardworking, kind, and generous man who loved his family and put them before anything. He enjoyed soccer and spent his time here on Earth either playing, watching, or coaching soccer games. He was an absolute die-hard fanatic of the soccer team Chivas, and the family asks that attendees please wear a Chivas Jersey or any red attire to honor his memory.

His memorial and visitation will be held in Saint Louis, where he worked hard his entire life, made countless friendships, and watched his family grow. His final resting place will be in his hometown of Valdeflores, Oaxaca, where he always planned to return once he retired and hoped to live out the rest of his days alongside his wife. Although he left this Earth too early for us to understand, God always has a purpose, and therefore, we all must believe he is still among us fulfilling his. He will forever live in our hearts and never be forgotten
