Timoshenko, Valeriy - FUNERAL
Sunday morning, July 11th, my mother-in-law heard a knock on her door. Upon opening it, she was surprised to see a police officer standing at her front door. The officer seemed as if he had something very unpleasant to say. In disbelief she heard that her son Valeriy (38) is no longer alive. She was told that he was walking home along rd22 and was hit by a truck.
The news came as a shock to us all. Valeriy's death was unexpected and therefore siblings, mom, and bed ridden (fully paralyzed) father were robbed of a chance to say final goodbyes. It was very hard to break the news to our children. Valeriy is remembered as a kind, funny, giving, and thoughtful uncle.
Many of the details are unknown to us and the incident is still under investigation. We assume that the driver of the truck is most likely innocent due to his actions following the accident. He himself called 911 right away and didn't flee the scene.
Some of you have reached out with a heart to help and asked if we have created a Go Fund Me for Valeriy's funeral expenses. We considered and debated if we should create one or not. Due to my father-in-law's stroke last year, and my mother-in-law being laid off work (because of covid) there have been unpredictable expenses. Because of this current situation, we humbly ask for help. May The Lord bless you in every possible way and keep you and your loved ones safe.
"P.S."
Your kind words, sympathy, prayers and encouragement are much, much appreciated. We love you all! Thank you for reaching out in our time of loss and pain.
For those who would like to join, funeral will be held on Monday, July 19th at 9:00a.m. at Quiet Haven Memorial Park Cemetery
