TIMOR LESTE TOUR

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Casuarina Football Club and the Portuguese & Timorese Social Club. To commemorate this milestone, the Senior Women’s Team of Casuarina will be travelling back to the clubs’ roots by participating in the Timor-Leste Football Tour 2017 in May. Our women will play three local women’s soccer teams, visit a local orphanage close to the clubs’ heart, and obtain a well-rounded experience in a country where many members of both clubs originate. 
Casuarina Football Club is a not for profit organisation, and supports their teams with commitment, experience and community. However, further funding is required for the Timor-Leste Tour in order to achieve all goals intended for the visit. You can support our women’s team by donating funds for us to put towards our necessities such as accommodation, food and flights. Donations will provide the team with the opportunity to extend similar generosity and support to those less fortunate, encountered on the trip. The team will be representing women in sport, advocating for women’s mental health and well being, and we are proud to be affiliated with the Portuguese Timorese community in Darwin. Any support you can provide will be cherished and valued and will allow the team to have an unforgettable time.
