Tim Nurse's Cancer Treatment Fund

Dear hockey friends and families:
Tim Nurse, a fellow RDV Hockey player, and friend to many of us, was recently diagnosed with mantle cell Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Tim is currently battling this rare form of cancer and is going through chemotherapy treatments as well as future stem cell replacement treatments. He will be receiving treatments at the University of Florida hospital the coming months.
In addition to the stress of the diagnosis and the sickness from chemotherapy, Tim and his family will incur extensive medical bills. This fundraiser is to help them with some of these overwhelming expenses.
A little bit about Tim Nurse and his family:
Tim has been married to his beautiful wife Laura for 25 years. He has two teenage kids, Jenna and Chris. Jenna is graduating high school this year and will be going to the University of South Florida this fall. His son Chris, who is 16, will be an 11th-grader at Lecanto High School.
To help, we are also hosting a public skate at the RDV Ice Den in Maitland FL., and will be taking donations for Tim at the door. This is a great cause for a great person. Please plan to attend. I
